Leo Takes First Place at KP Thailand Jumping Championship

Leo placed first in the Dressage Novice Open and Pony classes at the KP Thailand Jumping Championship. While the competition brought challenges, he was pleased with the results. This event marked his final competition of the year.

A Big Debate and A Big Win!

Congratulations to Gabby Thepsoparn and her debate partner Nia (Y10 at Bangkok Patana school) for their win at the International Competition for Young Debaters (ICYD) 2026 at Oxford Union, UK. 

With only two weeks, and on top of their (I)GCSE mocks, they had to learn British Parliamentary debate, a style not used in Thailand. They attended the international competition for the chance to experience debate amongst 48 of the top national teams from UK and the world, with no expectations at all. 

Lo and behold, through their tenacity and a crazy 14-hour day with four debate rounds, they managed to be the last breaking team to enter the ESL finals. What a bigger surprise then that they managed to win the ESL Finals, marking a first historic win for Thailand and ending India’s five year championship streak! 🏆
