A Theatrical Beginning
Collective creation in Drama
What a wonderful way to start the year in Drama! The incredible Red Leap theatre Company from New Zealand, worked with our students and introduced them to exciting ways to devise theatre. They played with cellophane and torches, feathers and chairs, making miniature and large scale worlds. Perspective was a key teaching; getting students to make and create tiny people with their hands, and large environments with various materials and props was so exciting. Watching students really think, collaborate and discuss ideas was fantastic as they take this work into IGCSE and IB exam work.
