Dance Academy

Our Dance Academy offers students with a passion for the performing arts to really stretch themselves and explore a range of dance styles and performance opportunities. Our non-selective programme includes Ballet, Tap, Hip Hop, Breakdancing, Jazz, Lyrical/Contemporary and Cheerleading. Those students who show potential are also able to audition for our BPS Dance Company, a selective group who participate in dance competitions, festivals and other public performances at major Bangkok Patana School events.

Our Dance  Academy staff also support our curriculum teachers, providing in-class expertise during Physical Education dance units of learning.

The Dance Academy is based in our world class, purpose built space that boasts seven custom built studios, equipped with mirrors, sprung floors, sound systems and barres, which allow students to work collaboratively. Bangkok Patana hosts various Dance  events involving other local schools. The highlight of the Dance Academy year is the annual Junior and Senior Dance Extravaganzas, a celebration of all the learning that has gone on throughout the year in Dance ECAs, as well as providing an opportunity for auditioned soloists to really shine in front of their peers.
