What began as an idea in May transformed into an unforgettable theatrical experience last week. Months of planning, design and rehearsal culminated in a production that was as bold as it was moving. From the first sketches of the set in the Black Box Studio to the final curtain call, every detail spoke of creativity and shared passion for theatre.
Auditions launched at the start of Term 1, bringing together students from Years 10 to 13. What followed was a challenging casting process and weeks of intense rehearsals, where the story slowly came alive. The result was a performance that captured the raw energy and haunting themes of Lord of the Flies with striking authenticity.
On stage, the cast delivered powerful, nuanced portrayals, while behind the scenes, the technical crew worked tirelessly to create an atmosphere that was immersive and compelling. It was a production filled with laughter, tears and daring artistic choices!
More than a play, this was a shared journey. It united students across Year groups, inspired creative risk-taking, and fostered a spirit of collaboration that resonated far beyond the stage. For those who witnessed it, the experience was stirring and unforgettable. To every performer, crew member and supporter: thank you for making this vision a reality. Together, you created something extraordinary—an achievement that will be remembered with pride.
