University Fair Draws Curious Students and Parents

Bangkok Patana’s annual University Fair saw nearly 200 universities and colleges visit.

Throngs of curious students filled the Conference Centre for the annual Bangkok Patana University Fair. Not spoiled for choice, the fair had over 180 different schools in attendance. Representatives came from around the world with a strong showing by US colleges and universities but the UK was well represented with many students clustered around tables asking questions. Ranging from the US and UK to Australia, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Ireland and many others, there was no shortage of opportunities for students and parents to learn more about the universities.

Coke from Year 12 said, “I’m here to see what my options are and what is suitable for me. In the long term, no matter what decision you make now there will always be a solution later.” Humayraa from Year 13 was checking out Manchester, Bath and Bristol as options for her studies in Pharmacy. “It is really helpful to have direct talks with the university representatives – it gives a good insight into what they want.”
