What a brilliant weekend of sport it has been for Bangkok Patana at the Season 2 SEASAC Championships! Across three countries and multiple competitions, our students represented the school with pride, determination and fantastic sportsmanship.

Here at Patana, we were proud to host 16 Touch Rugby teams and 12 Contact Rugby teams from 14 schools, creating an exciting and friendly atmosphere throughout the tournament. Our Girls’ Touch Rugby teams performed extremely well, with the Varsity Girls finishing 5th in Division 1 and the JV Girls also securing 5th place in Division 2. Both teams showed great improvement, teamwork and resilience over the course of the competition.

However, it was our Boys’ Rugby team who truly stole the show on home soil. With grit, skill and outstanding teamwork, they achieved a 3rd‑place finish, the best result in Bangkok Patana history for SEASAC Rugby. A huge milestone for the programme and a moment of which the boys should be incredibly proud.

Meanwhile, our Basketball teams competed in Vietnam, where the Varsity Girls claimed a fantastic Bronze medal, showcasing consistency and heart in every game. The Varsity Boys battled hard throughout the tournament and earned a 7th‑place finish.

The stars of the weekend were undoubtedly our Tennis teams competing in Kuala Lumpur. The Boys’ team performed brilliantly to finish as runners‑up, while the Varsity Girls were crowned SEASAC Champions, bringing home an unforgettable title.

A huge congratulations to all athletes and coaches on a truly outstanding Season 2!
