A Magical Performance

A Magical Performance

Year 6 Aladdin Production

The Year 6 production of Aladdin was a high energy celebration of student talent, collaboration and creativity. Every child in the Year group took to the stage with confidence, fully embracing their roles and contributing to a truly memorable performance. Lead roles were performed by multiple cast members across different shows to ensure that as many students as possible had the opportunity to shine, reflecting the inclusive and collaborative spirit of the production. From principal characters to ensemble members, the level of commitment, engagement and enthusiasm was outstanding!

Musical numbers were performed with gusto showing how the students had worked hard to master the timing, movement and storytelling that brought each scene to life. Whether performing solos or moving as an ensemble, the students demonstrated excellent coordination and a sense of fun that radiated throughout the production.

Characterisation was a real highlight, with students throwing themselves into their roles. With expressive voice work and clear physicality, their confidence and stage presence was impressive.

However, what made this production so special was the sheer enjoyment on every child’s face. Their pride in performing, sense of collaboration and courage to take creative risks were evident from the first scene to the final bow. A huge well done to every Year 6 student for their incredible effort on and off the stage!
