Grease is the Word…
“We go together”
There was an excitement around the Arts Centre as students were introduced to next year’s Secondary musical – Grease!
During the ‘Taster’ day, students worked in two large mixed Year group sessions where they completed Drama activities to introduce key characters, sung together and learnt some choreography to one of the iconic songs “We go together”.
Students were encouraged not to worry about being a perfect dancer, singer or actor – but to work as an ensemble to learn and grow together and most importantly, HAVE FUN! The Black Box was certainly a buzzing place.
If you missed out on the Taster day but want to take part in the musical next year- auditions will take place on Monday 26th and Tuesday 27th August, look out for the sign up in the first week back to school. The final performances of Grease will take place in early December- keep your eyes out for updates throughout Term 1.
