Junior Librarians on Tour!

Our Junior Librarians headed out to the Neilson Hays to read stories to young children…

Four of our Primary School Junior Librarians shared their passion for books by volunteering to read to young children at the popular Neilson Hays Library. It was mid-morning on a Saturday and a group of parents with toddlers and young children gathered in the main room of the Library for their regular Saturday morning story time. There was even a group of students from South Korea who had added this to their tour itinerary!

Our Junior Librarians were excited, a little nervous and very eager. They introduced themselves and then began a splendid session of reading out aloud. The young listeners were engaged, especially with the range of tone, voice and actions employed by the Junior Librarians. They all said they thoroughly enjoyed the morning and are looking forward to doing this again. A big thank you to these Junior Librarians for reaching out into the community and showing of their Bangkok Patana values. Thanks also to the Neilson Hays Library for being wonderful hosts!
