Senior Leadership Update 29th September 2022

COVID updates, Angela Royle Fun Run and International Day

Dear Parents,

We hope you have been enjoying our open campus; we have appreciated being able to meet so many of you in person at events in school already.

Today’s update is one that many in our community have been awaiting for two years! Following the announcement by the Thai government easing Covid-19 restrictions, we will also be adjusting protocols on campus. As of 1st October, masks will be optional throughout the campus. Children will be able to choose whether or not they wear their masks, without any pressure from staff. Protocols for students and staff who test positive for Covid-19 and for High-Risk contacts have been updated and may be viewed here.

We hope that you will continue to observe the regular precautionary measures for your child’s well-being – if your child is not feeling well or experiencing symptoms that indicate a possible illness, do not send them to school. Do inform the school nurse (nurse@patana.ac.th) if your child tests positive for Covid-19.

Thank you for your cooperation and support over the past two years as we moved through the ever-changing regulatory requirements of this pandemic.

Our first full school community event of the academic year, the Angela Royle Fun Run takes place this Saturday. We look forward to seeing you at this and other events through to the rest of this term, especially on 15th November when we will celebrate the event most missed by our community – International Day!

Best regards,

The Senior Leadership Team
