Bangkok Patana School and the Bangkok Patana School Foundation conducted a flood rehabilitation activity at Ban Khlong Wa School, Hat Yai, following the severe flooding that affected the school and surrounding community.
With the support of the Royal Thai Air Force, the team travelled to Hat Yai. Upon arrival, donated items were delivered to the school, followed by a donation handover ceremony and rehabilitation activities, including painting classrooms, playgrounds, and school buildings. Lunch was shared with the students, and in the afternoon the team also visited nearby flood-affected households to distribute essential items.
This meaningful initiative would not have been possible without the collective support and generosity of our parents, teachers, students, and BPS staff, whose helping hands and commitment made a real difference on the ground. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all donors for their generous contributions to the Flood Appeal organised by Bangkok Patana School and the Foundation.
In addition to two large shipments of donated supplies sent earlier to southern Thailand, further support included school uniforms, mattresses for nursery children, televisions, speakers, whiteboards, furniture, musical instruments, painting supplies, meals for students, high-pressure water cleaners, and household electrical appliances for affected families.
We extend our sincere thanks to the Royal Thai Air Force, Foundation Board, PTG and last but not least, parents and the entire Bangkok Patana School community for their invaluable support and cooperation. Together, we have helped the Ban Khlong Wa School community take an important step toward recovery.
