Celebrating the Year of the Horse
This year’s Lunar New Year assembly opened with captivating storytelling and dazzling performances from our Gymnastics, Dance academies and a special performance from the China PTG team. Students and staff then joined together in a lively rendition of “Gōng xǐ gōng xǐ gōng xǐ nǐ ya,” before the celebration burst into colour and movement with a thrilling display of traditional Thai‑Chinese dragon and lion dancers, complete with energetic drumming performance by our students.
Much like our other cherished cultural celebrations – Christmas, Loy Krathong, Songkran and International Day – Lunar New Year offers a meaningful opportunity to explore rich traditions and the stories behind them. What makes these moments so special is the way they celebrate both our uniqueness and our shared spirit, creating a warm and inclusive environment where everyone feels at home.
