Patana Primary Concert

Primary music marked the grand finale in the last week of term

After a busy and exciting year of music events, Patana Primary marked the grand finale in the last week of term, celebrating the hard work and dedication of our young musicians. Showcasing the achievements of students involved in our Music ECAs, this year’s concert involved more than 280 students performing from across the Primary School.

The audience enjoyed a wonderful variety of performances, including Thai traditional music, three choirs, two wind bands and two string ensembles. The concert culminated in a spectacular finale, This Is Me, bringing together every ECA group on the same stage, in a powerful mass performance that highlighted the vast range of musical skills, commitment and enthusiasm of our young musicians.  It was a fitting end to a wonderful year of music making and events, and the music team are especially proud of all those that participated.

Having the opportunity to perform as part of an ensemble is a vital part of a young musician’s development, making these Music ECAs particularly valuable. We encourage anyone learning an instrument, or who simply loves to sing, to join one of our many ensembles next academic year. Alongside developing musical skills, making music together builds confidence, communication and a sense of community, while creating lasting memories through performances such as Patana Primary.
