Tiger Spirit in the Pool

Tiger Spirit in the Pool

A Term of Aquatic Adventures

This term, our Primary students have truly made waves with two exciting aquatic events that showcased their energy, teamwork and determination.

First up was the annual Swimming Gala, where Year 3, 4 and 5 students took to the pool for a day of spirited competition and laughter. Classes cheered each other on as they raced for titles like Overall Winners, Most Organised Class and the coveted Tiger Spirit Award. The event featured a perfect mix of traditional swimming races and creative challenges, including the thrilling Titanic, the fast-paced Sky Ball Relay, and the crowd-favourite Teacher Chariot Race, which had everyone on their feet!

Just a few weeks earlier, our Year 4 and 5 students tested their endurance in the Aquathon, a multisport challenge combining swimming and running. Participants chose their own distances, tackling fun-themed challenges such as Wave Rider and Ocean Warrior. It was inspiring to see every student give their best, showing resilience and determination while keeping those smiles shining throughout the event.

Both events were a celebration of fitness and fun, reminding us that sports are not just about winning, but about supporting one another and enjoying the journey. Well done to all our young athletes for making a splash this season!
