A Week of Fulfilment and Completion
Year 11s and Year 13s paving their way forward
While most of our Secondary students were off on their Residential Visits, Senior Studies was buzzing with energy as Year 11 and Year 13 embarked on two very special journeys, Fulfilment Week and Completion Week.
Year 11: Fulfilment Week
For Year 11, this was was all about balance: boosting brains, building skills and having a blast! Students sharpened their study strategies with Elevate Education, learned the ropes of financial literacy thanks to Melbourne Capital, and carved out time to plan and kick-start their revision.
But it wasn’t all books and notes! The week kept everyone moving with a fencing taster from Ying Fencing Club, Muay Thai and self-defence sessions led by Master Chai, and high-energy circuit training in the Shark Tank. For those who love the water, the inflatable pool session was a splash hit!
Year 13: Completion Week
For our Year 13 students, the focus was crystal clear: finishing strongly. They dedicated the week to completing three major milestones: their Extended Essay or Reflective Project, the Mathematics Internal Assessment, and their Theory of Knowledge essay plan. Many also made strides in other subject areas, ensuring they’re well on track for success.
After such a productive week, it was time to unwind. Students wrapped things up with a well-deserved celebration; a delicious BBQ, music, dancing and games. A perfect way to mark the end of a week filled with hard work and achievement!
