Year 1 Help Their Family

Year 1 Help Their Family

Year 1 are conscientious role models helping in their family community.

Children in Year 1 took some time to consider the different ways they can help those around them. From tidying up their toys, to turning off the lights, gardening, setting the table and washing and putting away the dishes, they showed the ways they like to help. Those with younger brothers and sisters also talked about the ways they help take care of their siblings. They said they enjoy playing games with their siblings as well as reading to them and helping with mathematics.

It seems that our children in Year 1 are understanding how important it is to be a kind and compassionate role models in their community; from big to small tasks, they want to help.
