Year 3 students have been creating their own weather report. In their ICT lessons, they collected weather data from around the world and created their own map from Google Maps’ ‘Mymaps’. Using pixel art, they created their own weather symbols and snipped these on to their maps. They learned about green screen technology which would allow them to superimpose a weather map in the background. The students are writing weather report scripts from their data collection and will be filming their own weather reports over the next two weeks.
