Year 6 were on the move as they laced up their trainers and took over the Sports Hall for a lively sponsored run in support of A21 — a charity dedicated to fighting human trafficking and protecting vulnerable people across the globe.

With a timer ticking and music pumping, students challenged themselves to rack up as many laps as they could. The Sports Hall buzzed with excitement as classmates cheered one another on, motivated their friends to keep going, and showed incredible grit and determination right to the very last second.

But this wasn’t just about fundraising. Linked to our Migration unit, the event also encouraged students to think about the difficult journeys many migrants face. By giving up their lunchtime and pushing through physical fatigue, Year 6 caught a tiny glimpse of the resilience, perseverance and sheer effort involved in long journeys taken in search of safety and a better future.

We are absolutely thrilled with the enthusiasm, teamwork and generosity shown by our Year 6 students. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, supported the runners, or contributed to this meaningful cause.

What a fantastic effort, Year 6 — well done!
