Animals Help in Writing Reports!
Year 2 are researching their favourite animals to write a scientific report on them
Year 2 students are learning to write reports. Using ‘Animals’ as the main topic, the students learnt good research methods. Once they gathered all the facts about their favourite animal, they explored the different parts of a report, from how to write a heading and sub-heading to including photos and labels. They also studied the difference between past and present tense and why your report needs to be in the present tense. Once their learning finishes, Year 2 students will be amazing animal experts!
