Can Snowmen Fly?

A heartwarming end to Term 1

Bangkok Patana School wrapped up Term 1 with a Christmas Assembly (definitely one for the books) celebrating life’s magical moments with the theme from The Snowman by Raymond Briggs and the animated film adaptation.

It is not often you get to witness a flying snowman in school (or anywhere!) – A huge thanks to our Gymnastics Team Captain Sam Jones for capturing the essence of the animation and bringing it to life for the entire school. Accompanied by the Primary Band, Primary and Secondary Choirs, Jazz Ensemble and special performances by the gymnasts and Dance academy, entire school was captivated by the performances and transported to the home of the little boy in The Snowman.

The Christmas Assembly was a good reminder to ‘Cherish the Moment’: Life is filled with fleeting, magical experiences – appreciate them while they last. ‘Embrace Impermanence’: Everything has its time and place, and learning to let go is a part of life. ‘Value Friendship’: Even brief connections can leave a lasting impression and shape who we are. The story of The Snowman resonates across all ages, reminding us to treasure the beauty of life’s transient moments and to find joy in the present.

Wishing our Bangkok Patana family a very Merry Christmas!
