Extra-curricular Activities from Home

Students have been busy using their creativity with ECAs at home.

Students are busy learning online but still take time out for extra-curricular activities. ECAs, which are offered in a regular weekday blog, provide students respite from the rigours of online learning, sparking new passions in students and bringing a high level of engagement.

A big shout out to Year 5 in particular who are averaging 60 students or more a day engaging with the ECA blog!

Our most popular activities in Term 2 included baking, our photography scavenger hunt, mindful colouring and the Just Dance marathon. In Term 3, many fun activities for students continues. They are making time capsules, mixing tea and learning to podcast. Students are making eco-bricks and composting, showing their commitment to the environment. They are also Zumba-ing, gardening, and joining community music performances.

If you haven’t engaged with the ECA blog yet, try one of these current challenges: Show off your fashion skills in the Quarantine Fashion Show here; Additionally, there is a fun Sports contest with St Andrews International School online – enter here and show your Tiger spirit!
