IB Art Trail

IB Art Trail

Parents, students and staff followed a trail set by IB Art students…

Our school community was treated to another celebration of art, as they embarked upon the IB Art Trail around campus.

What sets the Art Trail exhibition apart is its focus on audience engagement. These young artists yearn to understand how viewers interpret their work and how their ideas are translated through the eyes of others. This reciprocal interaction is integral to their creative process. As artists, they find their voices through this exchange, a powerful dialogue that enriches their understanding of their own creations. The students will take the feedback of the audience further and refine their narrative creating compelling visual statements.

The Year 13 Art students embarked on a remarkable two-year creative journey, delving deep into the multifaceted theme of “Identity.” The showcased artwork is a teaser of their full exhibition set to be unveiled on the 20th March 2024, a testament to their dedication and resilience.

We are immensely proud of our Year 13 artists and the profound artistic statements they’ve crafted during this journey. “Identity” has provided a platform for self-expression and connection within the school community.

As we eagerly anticipate the complete IB Visual Art exhibition in a few months, we invite you to appreciate the visual and intellectual richness presented here and to look forward to engaging with the full scope of their creative prowess.
