Key Stage 1 Mini-Olympic Games

Students in KS1 get into the Olympic spirit with their own mini-Olympics

Students in Key Stage 1 created their own mini-Olympic Games at home and they planned, performed and evaluated their events. Some students chose traditional sports like gymnastics and running. Others added in skateboarding, bicycle riding and obstacle courses. Many started their mini-Olympics with a parade and were motivated to wear country flag or colours. In the end, the final results were tallied, medals handed out and students not only had a lot of fun, but got in some great exercises too!
