Key Stage 2 Try New Sports

Students in Key Stage 2 try new sports

Students in Key Stage 2 have had a fantastic week of trying new sports. Students arrived in their normal PE slot but were then provided with six choices of activities that they would not normally access in their regular curriculum. They were encouraged to be risk takers and give something a try that they had not done before. Activities available across the four Year groups varied widely. They included Touch Rugby, Kabadi, Spinning, Flippa Ball, Capture the Flag, Kinball, Bouldering/Traversing, Nukem, Yoga, Table Tennis, Cricket, Pilates, Circus Skills, Taekwondo, Rounders, Hockey, Gaelic Football and Trampolining.

It’s great to be a risk taker!
