It is hard to believe we are starting Week 3 of our CSL (Continuing Student Learning) programme on Monday. We have been delighted with how focused and energised our students have been starting their new CSL classes. We have received positive feedback from parents and students about the student resource packs; Year 4 to 6 packs will be ready the week of 6th September and you will soon hear from the Primary Office. Our school librarians have been busy processing online library book orders and the system seems to be going smoothly. Over 150 students have already received their library book orders, which is wonderful.
We currently have 11 active community COVID-19 cases and thankfully none of them have had serious symptoms because they were all fully vaccinated. Please do contact our Head Nurse, Khun Patama (firstname.lastname@example.org) if you or anyone in your household tests positive for COVID.
Many thanks for taking the time to fill out the important Health and Travel Declaration form and the Student Safeguarding Code of Conduct, as it is critical that we have as much information as possible to keep our school community safe.
The Boarding School Sandbox model, allowing small groups of students to study safely at school, is working well. We are still seeking approval to allow student learning pods at our school in the near future.
CSL Feedback Survey:
Now that we are well into our fourth school lockdown, it is imperative that we seek feedback from students, teachers and parents on how our CSL programme is functioning. Please do take the time to fill out the survey as it is your opportunity to give us direct feedback and let us know if there are any perceived learning issues or gaps.
Please complete the survey by Wednesday 1st September. A detailed analysis of the survey will be conducted and we plan to share those details in the next parent community letter.
Hoping you have an enjoyable weekend.
