Parting is Such Sweet Sorrow for Year 9
Year 9 are back in class and ready for what’s next after their CSL work on Shakespeare
Year 9 students sorrow no longer as they are back in the classroom now! They are ready to move forward after their studies on Shakespeare during CSL. They were tasked to re-create famous scenes from Shakespeare’s plays after learning about the man and his works. From Romeo and Juliet to MacBeth, students showed their creativity with items at home.
Their work demonstrated the strong foundations for student understanding of context and narrative during CSL. This will be used to support the students in upcoming tasks as Year 9 prepare for the (I)GCSE. Can you guess the play they are recreating?
