“New York University (NYU) has been my dream school since Year 10 – I’m fascinated by everything it offers. I love the city-integrated campus and the endless possibilities provided by the rigorous and resourceful education!” Receiving an Early Decision offer to her dream institution, Maanya Bagda will be attending New York University, studying Economics. “As a Business and Economics student, I enjoy a fast-paced environment with the opportunity to meet a lot of people and make new connections”, she said. Maanya’s interest in pursuing investment banking was inspired by her (I)GCSE and IB Business and Economics courses. Having attended Bangkok Patana School for ten years, Maanya will most miss spending time in Senior Studies with her friends – “it literally feels like home for me!”. As an outgoing person, a pathway leading to New York City seems to be a perfect fit. “I love exploring new places and meeting new people – both reasons I’m thrilled to be going to NYU.” Congratulations, Maanya!
