Primary Sports Days
Sporting fun for active development
The Primary School hosted a number of Interclass Sports and Sports Days in the closing weeks of Term 2, providing our young students with opportunities for fun, challenge and friendly competition. With a wide range of activities included, all students were sure to find their strength, either on the Tee Ball pitch, through the obstacle courses, or in the individual races. Sport, play and active learning are all a vital part of children’s development!
Sports Days help our students to build a positive attitude toward exercise and healthy living. These events also help to develop understanding and empathy, as sport encourages teamwork and communication. Such practical skills are further integrated into classroom learning, benefiting students’ knowledge retention and well-being. Thank you to the parents who came to support their students, the student helpers and the Primary PE Department for running the days’ events.
