Patana Pathways – Alexis Loke

Patana Pathways – Alexis Loke

Join us in celebrating Grad’23 Patana Pathways!

Seeking an institution that provided her the opportunity to live in a major global city, as well as to experience a “close-knit campus lifestyle”, Alexis Loke has accepted an offer to Queen Mary University of London to study Law. Studying law will provide Alexis with a strong foundation for wherever her pathway may lead her in the future. From her thirteen years at Bangkok Patana School, Alexis is most proud of having worked alongside UN Women in curating a panel on unconscious biases that she presented to Secondary staff in a Professional Learning session. She also served as the president for the Habitat for Humanity CAT club, helping to successfully build a wheelchair ramp at a community centre for disabled persons in Ayutthaya.

At Bangkok Patana, one of Alexis’ favourite classes was her (I)GCSE Fine Arts course, as it encouraged her to relax and was beneficial to her overall well-being. As her most treasured memories are laughing with her friends during lunch times, Alexis said she will miss the warm and welcoming environment on campus that has helped her to increase her confidence. Excited to embark on her new pathway, Alexis is confident that Queen Mary University of London will present her with new opportunities and a fascinating new context for her academic adventures. Congratulations, Alexis!
