School Re-opening Update from Senior Leadership
Important information on school re-opening

Dear Parents,
The moment we have long been waiting for…
Late yesterday we received written approval from the BMA (Bangkok Metropolitan Administration) Health Department to re-open our campus to students.
In order to follow our intention of a safe, staggered and controlled return to campus, we will follow the plan shared last Thursday:
Week 1 starting on Wednesday 27th October
Nursery, FS2, Year 6, Year 11 and Year 13
Week 2 starting on Monday 1st November
FS1, Year 2, Year 4, Year 7, Year 8, Year 12
Week 3 starting on Monday 8th November
Year 1, Year 3, Year 5, Year 9 and Year 10
We will be offering CSL for anyone who is unable to, or who does not want to return to campus. Just a reminder that parents / guardians are not allowed within the campus without an invitation.
The Primary and Secondary Principals shared specific details and procedures regarding the return to campus via email last Friday and will follow up with an additional email on Monday 25th October. Please re-read this information to make sure your child (ren) can enter school safely and has what they require to complete their day in school. If you have not received this information, please contact the Primary Office (primary@patana.ac.th) or Secondary Office (secondary@patana.ac.th). In particular, please ensure that:
- You have completed and/or updated the Health and Travel Declaration form for your child (ren).
- You have uploaded a negative ATK test result within the previous 72 hours before your child(ren)’s first day back at school. Your ATK results should be uploaded here.
- You have explained to your child the changes she/he can expect at school.
Over 99% of our staff are vaccinated and most of those who were eligible have received a booster vaccination as well. More than 75% of our Secondary students will be fully vaccinated by the time the first group of students returns to school. All staff will complete ATK tests before the first day of school. On an ongoing basis, we will be providing random ATK test kits for home testing.
The WWW regime remains important in preventing the spread of COVID-19. Just a reminder that if anyone in your family tests positive for COVID-19, please inform Khun Patama our Head Nurse on pach@patana.ac.th.
We are so excited to be welcoming your children back to campus. The ECA and Activities Department will be communicating shortly regarding the restarting of sports and ECAs.
