Primary School ‘Meet the Teachers’

It was unusual to see parents seated in Primary classrooms, having to pay attention to the teachers! Last week, teachers from Year 1 to 6 welcomed parents for an overview of the Primary curriculum and set expectations for the new academic year. Many parents took this opportunity to better know their child’s teachers in person and also understand the class environment. Teachers across the Primary School covered a myriad of topics from what to bring to school, birthdays in class, Residential visits and upcoming topics of study. With many exciting entry points underway for Primary students, parents not only got a glimpse of what their children will be learning, but literally had a seat at the table!
