Year 9 Explores Motion
Year 9 students took their learning beyond the classroom and headed to the Sports Complex for an exciting session of Rocket Science! Their challenge was to explore Newton’s Laws of Motion in action using water rockets. Working in teams, the students devised creative systems for collecting and analysing data.
The highlight of the day? Watching their rockets soar sky-high and finding the best air-water mixture for launching. It was a fantastic blend of physics, problem-solving and of course fun! An experience that truly brought science to life.
