Say Cheese – It’s Smile Day!

Smile Day raised donations for Operation Smile

Smile Day brought Primary and Secondary students – and staff – together for a school-wide moment of connection and purpose. Bright outfits set the tone as the community raised donations for Operation Smile, supporting access to cleft palate surgeries that make a lasting difference to lives around the world.

Across Primary, students created ‘Smile Tiles’, soon to be displayed near the 25m Pool as a shared marker of the day. A highlight was Year 5’s visit to Foundation Stage, where familiar spaces sparked memories and easy warmth. Watching older students reconnect with the play areas they once knew—and with the children now filling them—was a reminder of how naturally care and responsibility grow over time. While in Secondary, the Secondary Smile Club raised funds with various activites for students to particpate.

The day captured what community looks like in action: students of different ages learning, giving and showing up for the community.
