Solo Festival 2025
Budding artists ..
Our annual Cross Campus Solo Festival, as always, was a fantastic musical treat. With more than 140 performances across six venues, the it was a wonderful opportunity for musicians of all ages and levels to share their music-making with families and friends.
The range of music was diverse in both age and instrument groups including piano, electric bass guitar, harp, trombone, cello and vocalists to name a few. A new addition this year was the dedicated drum and guitar room, featuring kits of varying sizes to ensure an inclusive experience for drummers of all levels.
As a non-competitive environment, this Festival offers a platform for our young musicians to experience performing in front of a small and supportive audience. In addition, the visiting adjudicators from across the Bangkok international schools network, gave valuable feedback to each soloist to help develop their musicianship as well as celebrate their performance.
We are immensely proud of all our students, from Year 1 to Year 13, who had clearly practiced for many weeks and months to perfect their chosen piece and perform so confidently on stage. It was a wonderful celebration of the musicality across the school and a reminder of the positive impact that music has on our wellbeing.
A huge well done to everyone who took part!
