What a (K) Popping and (Nut) Cracking Christmas assembly! Bangkok Patana School ended Term 1 with the annual Christmas Assembly – a celebration of magic, music and dance inspired by Tchaikovsky’s timeless The Nutcracker with a daring twist.
The stage came alive with ballet and contemporary dance performances set to the enchanting strains of The Nutcracker Suite, transporting the audience into a world of snowflakes and sugarplums. This year’s story had an epic twist: Santa was kidnapped by the evil Mouse King, and our charismatic MCs, Katie, Rosie and Issy embarked on a thrilling rescue mission, complete with K-Pop Demon Hunter-inspired singing and a dancing battle to defeat the Mouse King and free Santa just in time for Christmas!
The assembly featured performances by the Primary Band, Primary and Secondary Choirs, Jazz Ensemble, the Orchestra and special showcases from our Dance Academy. From dancing to ‘Chocolate’, the Spanish Dance and Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker to high-octane K-Pop choreography, the entire school was captivated by this unique fusion of tradition and trend.
Wishing our Bangkok Patana family a Merry Christmas and a season filled with wonder, joy and unforgettable moments!
