Year 9’s Reaching for the Skies – Literally!
Who said Physics is not Fun!
Year 9 students took their learning beyond the classroom and headed to the Sports Complex for an exciting session of Rocket Science! Their challenge was to explore Newton’s Laws of Motion in action using water rockets.
Working in teams, the students devised creative systems for collecting and analysing data. They applied scientific principles in a hands-on, practical environment. The highlight of the day? Watching their rockets soar sky-high and finding the best air-water mixture for launching. It was a fantastic blend of physics, problem-solving and lots of fun, an experience that truly brought science to life.
