Year 4 Recreate Landmarks with CAD

Year 4 students are using computer-aided design in ICT lessons.

Year 4 are getting creative in ICT using CAD (Computer Aided Design) to make 3D icons of famous landscapes around the world. In Art, they learned about different shapes and silhouettes. They then transferred that knowledge using Tinkercad to create 3D shapes representing famous landmarks. The Eiffel Tower, the Taj Mahal, Big Ben, even Bangkok’s iconic Elephant Building are all possibilities for their designs. The end result; a 3D printed physical model students take home.
