Year 5 in Harmony
Year 5 students enjoy making harmonies and a simple melody.
Year 5 students are exploring harmony in Music and the effects of different notes played together; some of them ‘consonant’, some ‘dissonant’ They are using a simple melody to explore how some notes work well together and how others clash. Next they will learn more about the ways in which notes can be combined and how common chords are made like they learned on the ukulele last term.
