‘A Little Love’ with Bugsy Malone

‘A Little Love’ with Bugsy Malone

A welcome return to the stage for Secondary musicals!

The three-day run of Bugsy Malone was an energetic, musical return to the Rosamund Stuetzel Theatre stage. As the first Secondary musical in four years, many students joined the cast as their first experience, with many in the audience enjoying their first Bangkok Patana production. It was an ambitious production with a large cast and a live orchestra in the pit!

Our Rosamund Stuetzel Theatre is the size of many professional theatres around the world, meaning that our students and drama production teams were up for a challenge. Once it came time for the performance, our students shone – on stage, in the orchestra pit, as part of the stage crew and controlling the sound and lighting. Each and every role is vital to a large production like Bugsy Malone, and each student deserves a round of applause for their hard work, effort and dedication to the production. Well done to everyone involved!
