Art, D+T and Music Take Centre Stage
An afternoon and evening of art, music and design
What goes better together than art, design and music? “Nothing!” is what our students and parents would say.
Hours of feverish activity, as students helped set up displays and made sure everything was in the right place, paid off for the IB Visual Arts students at their exhibition. The unique settings for the art displays really showcased the students’ intentions. D + T students were not left out as they showcased their unique designs, many of which were built for specific purposes for physically challenged children.
To top it all off, after an afternoon of viewing some really unique and creative pieces, the audience enjoyed the Patana Jazz and Blues concert. The atmosphere in the theatre was upbeat – the student musicians had the crowd tapping their toes along with the music!
