Astronauts in Training!
Do you have what it takes to become an astronaut?
Year 5 students have spent the day exploring the skills and knowledge required to make it into space. They have pushed themselves physically and mentally, created representations of planets and space vehicles and learnt about the planets in our solar system. How do you remember the order of the planets? Perhaps you say My Very Excited Mother Just Served Us Noodles, or My Very Easy Method Just Speeds Up Nothing. Year 5 developed their own unique ways to remember.
Over the next nine weeks of Term 3, Year 5 will continue to investigate space, finding out about history of the space race, including the current race to space. Year 5 teachers suspect there may be future astronauts among their classes! Only time will tell…
