Year 11 Artists Complete Exam Projects

Creating artworks inspired by the theme: Lock

Year 11 GCSE Arts students returned to campus for two days this week for some studio time to work on the final outcome for their exam projects. This is the final part of the GCSE Art and Design course and the culmination of two years of hard work! Through this course, students have developed their artistic knowledge, skills and understanding.

This year, the theme for the exam project was Lock. Students were tasked with responding creatively to this theme – taking inspiration from the works of other artists and then developing their own ideas toward a personal and meaningful response. During these exam days, students work independently to create final outcomes across a range of media and styles, including Photography, Illustration, Graphic Design, Digital Art, Sculpture, Painting and Mixed Media. Congratulations to our Year 11 artists on completing the GCSE Art and Design course!
