Back to Roots with Ananda Everingham

Ananda has delighted audiences with his acting in well-known Thai movies such as Khun Pan, Me.. Myself, The Red Eagle, Eternity and The Shutter.

Patana Alum Ananda Everingham visited the school last week, evoking nostalgic memories from his days in Secondary School. Walking through the campus he was excited to see photos of the Soi Navin campus, triggering fond recollections of his time there. Ananda shared that during Primary school lunch breaks, they would often play rock-paper-scissors, taking turns walking up and down the stairs.

“I have not been back to Bangkok Patana in over twenty years; ironically the people I socialise with, and I call my best friends are Patana alumni, many of us have been close friends for two decades.

It was strangely nerve-wracking when we drove onto campus; I felt like I had forgotten my homework or was about to get detention, but walking into the same entrance from when I was twelve and seeing familiar faces smiling back brought a flood of nostalgia. It became very clear that the formative experience at Bangkok Patana played an integral role that shaped me into who I am today.”

Ananda has delighted audiences with his acting in well-known Thai movies such as Khun Pan, Me.. Myself, The Red Eagle, Eternity and The Shutter. Ananda who is also a producer was in school to see how he could share his expertise with our students.
