Being a Good Sport and Learning Strategy

Key Stage 2 students demonstrated being a good sport and use of strategy in some new sports and in old favourites.

The students in Years 3, 4, 5 and 6 had a great time celebrating the grand finale of their Interclass competitions in Teaching of Games for Understanding (TOGFU), taking part in a variety of sports designed to test their skills and achievements.

Year 3 and 4 students took the field in a stirring Football competition, while Year 5, had the choice of playing Hockey, Handball or Football.  Lacrosse, Handball or Football were the options for Year 6.

Students represented their classes with pride; demonstrating being a good sport while showing the ability to outwit their opponents using positive strategies and tactics. The grand finale gave every participant the chance to compete and have a lot of fun at the same time!
