Budding Fashion Designers in Year 8

Year 8 students are working hard to create the next craze in slipper design in their Art lessons. First, they created Google form surveys to better understand what makes people want to shop and what they love to buy. Next, they conducted market research to relate their surveys to what is available in stores already. In group discussions on Teams and using class whiteboards they reflected on and shared this information with each other. Finally, they used this new knowledge to help create their own individual designs. Using client profiles, they are beginning to sketch slippers that are targeted at specific market groups. It’s going to be exciting to see what comes next from these budding fashion designers!
