COVID-19 Update 5th May 2021

The latest update from Mr Mills

Dear Parents,

I want to thank you all for your continued attention to keeping safe, as positive COVID cases continue to spread in Bangkok. Cases within the Bangkok Patana community have remained steady and currently we have 13 active cases amongst students, parents and staff.

The school campus will remain closed until at least 16th May due to the ongoing outbreak in Bangkok.

As we follow increasing social restrictions in order to curb the pandemic, staying positive and motivated gets difficult and one of our Bangkok Patana Values  – resilience – becomes ever more important. Between working at home and learning at home, I hope that your family has found ways to relax and find joy, despite the social restrictions.

Just a reminder to please complete the Guiding Statements survey in case you have not already done so. The survey takes less than five minutes and we hope to receive input from all of you.

Really hoping to start seeing the number of active COVID cases start to come down in Bangkok in the very near future. I will keep you updated if I receive any new information.

Best wishes,

Matt Mills, Head of School
