Year 6 are continuing their learning about Great Migrations in CSL by learning how to create timelines. First, they learnt about the different eras in human history and familiarise themselves with the terms BCE, CE and AD. Students learnt that timelines must be in chronological order from left to right. Then, they created a timeline of various world historical events. They included the important events from their lesson in the timelines. Students found that timelines are an important tool to use when studying historical events; they offer a snapshot of important events that are part of their Great Migrations learning.
