Embracing our Diversity on International Day

Celebrating our diversity on International Day 2021

Students had a lot of fun wearing in their native costumes and country colours in school and at home for International Day. From yukatas to kilts and everything in between, our truly international students from about 60 different countries, shared their customs and culture. Year 7 students learned a traditional Filipino bamboo dance while students in Year 4 shared their stories with their friends. From Foundation Stage to Year 13, International Day is one of the most popular events on the school calendar. While the students didn’t get a chance to enjoy all the amazing food from the PTG this year, there were some international snacks in the Secondary Snack Bars. Students celebrated our diversity together – whether in school or at home – embracing inclusiveness and honouring their native customs and cultures.
