Exciting New ECAs in Action

A range of new ECAs have been introduced in Block 2 – from surfskate to ukulele making to e-sports – covering a variety of student interests.

Block 2 introduced a range of new Extra-curricular activities (ECA) options – check them out in action!

The buzz around school at 2:30pm each afternoon is palpable as students change from their uniforms into tutus, leotards, taekwondo doboks, swimsuits and football boots, ready to resume their favourite after school activities.

It has been lovely to see students greet their ECA coaches and teachers like old friends. As with all things right now, there is a range of careful COVID-19 management protocols in place to keep everyone safe, but most importantly the joy of being back together and enjoying sports and activities is a huge positive.

We have a range of new ECAs on offer this term, as well as many of the old favourites:

  • Primary Surfskate
  • Dot Painting (art meets mindfulness)
  • Bee and Insect Hotel Making  (great for boosting biodiversity on campus)
  • Ukelele Making
  • Latin and Bollywood Dance
  • E-Sports

Our students are very fortunate to have such a diverse offering, with just over 500 ECAs running each week.
