Friendship Friday Connects Communities

Children across Primary School celebrated Friendship Friday, a day to connect with the community. On Friendship Friday, the first fundraising activity of the year, students learned more about the charities their Year groups support. They also learned how the children supported by their charity are the same as them in many ways, but face very different challenges in their day to day lives. Friendship Friday was a non-uniform day as well, with many students dressing in colourful clothing. This special day was a great opportunity for children to develop empathy and awareness for others learning more about the communities around them.
